What are you celebrating today?
I have a love of abandoned buildings, they seem to hold an imprint of what took place and my imagination soars as to what they were like when they were in use. I admit that I can quickly get a creepy sensation with odd noises and a sense of isolation, even if only a few hundred yards from the road.
So many tragic deaths this past week… within the communities in which I minister and far beyond that. So much grief… so many lives changed forever.
Here are five ways/reasons I remain hopeful.

Thanks to the generosity of the Elmsdale Pastoral Charge and family, we have a full suitcase of clothing, school and art supplies and toiletries to take to a United Church mission partner in Cuba.
