This is part of one of the most walkable neighbourhoods in the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Called The Hydrostone Market it is part of the North End, an area which has become increasingly attractive over the years. After years of being the poor cousin of the rest of Halifax, it has become a haven for artistic types, along with a beautiful housing area that are set on wide boulevards. which has become a sought after neighbourhood. This street is home to unique shops, galleries, restaurants and coffee shops and in good weather there are always people wandering in and out of the shops, enjoying coffee or a glass of wine at one of the sidewalk cafes. Across the street there is a little pocket park, again a place to gather, especially for dog owners. There is music during the summer, my church has hosted a Blessing of the Animals for a number of years. It is one of the best streets in the city!
